I did it!! 30 blog posts in 30 days!
30 days ago I joined Connie Ragen’s 30 days blog challenge. The challenge was to write 30 blog posts in 30 days!
I have learned a lot from the challenge, and in this last post I will share some thoughts, statistics and give a survey of my 30 posts.
Content: My first thought about the challenge was: “How on Earth can I create content for 30 posts in 30 days? And how do I get the time?”. But my mind started to get into creative mode, and ideas for posts started popping up. I also learned about sources I didn’t know of where I could get content and inspiration, like PLR articles. Also two of my posts where guest blog posts.
Traffic: My blog has had an amazing increase in number of visits during the challenge. Take a look at this number from Google Analytics:
560.88% more traffic than the month before the challenge started! And I even wrote a good amount of post the previous month. Also I can see an increase in number of visits to some of my other sites that I link to in my posts. Traffic to Powerful-Affirmations.com has increased with 91.53% and traffic to newbie-ebooks.com with 315.15%!!
Finally, I had the three highest numbers of visits to my blog on one day during the challenge.
Other benefits: I have met a lot of new people, some have asked me to gues blog on their blogs, some have asked me to do Joint Ventures. I have recieved lots of great comments.
The question is: Would I join another challenge like this in the future? Yes!! Just bring it on! (I might need a couple of weeks “blog rest”!)

Just to let you know, I played your music as my dog was dying 1/6/2010. It was amazing to see the angels coming in.

Wow, Claus! I had no doubt you would finish – but still, way to go!
Mooie – re: Muki’s dying to Claus’ music – that is so remarkable. What an incredibly powerful image that conjures up for me. Thank you for sharing that personal moment with us.
Thank you, KK. It means a lot to me!
Good Job Claus!
It’s a very interesting challange, which I think forces you, to be creative.

Hi Frederik, thank you!
I’m believe like you, that you can train your mind to be creative.
I came across this in my research for today’s podcast. I was wondering how the project influenced the traffic of your blog.
You might have inspired me to do something similar. Not bad at all.
Talk to you later.
Potter
Hi, thank you. It made traffic increase about 500% compared to the month before the challenge…
