Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve had a lot of success with finding similar blogs on http://www.blogcatalog.com.

However, I have found that finding great related blogs interested in guest posts to be very time-consuming. I’ve started a new project, called http://www.blogsynergy.com, which helps you find blogs who are very keen to get guest writers.

Would love to hear what you think about it?

Hi Dan, Thank you so much for your comment. I believe there is not just one way to find blogs to guest blog on. I belive myself strongly in creating relationships to people. Through Twitter, FaceBook, forums and blogs. Also it’s important to make clear what you can bring to the party. The people that have been guest bloggers on my blog are people I have got to know on the internet, and invitet. I’m also beginning to be invited myself to guest blog. I have also asked directly if I could guest blog on blogs that I like. I hope this is useful. Greetings, Claus

A refreshing change for an article about guest blogging to be about link quality, rather than the pretty-standard “benefits of guest blogging”.

I found your article whilst looking for articles about guest blogging.

How do you find blogs to write for?

I’ve used a range of methods, including using Google searches such as “write for us”, looking for similar blogs on BlogCatalog.com, and reading the blogs of people commenting on my blogs.

Also, I tried to email you, but you don’t appear to have a contact form or email address on your about page..?

This is a great way to create back links.
May I add that while writing your bio with a backlink hyperlink the keywords you are linking for in the page you want to send the readers to. This will up your SEO and still give you the backlink to your site.

Also – Walter is a fabulous write and would a great guest blogger.
