<p>She was celebrated all week, and at her birthday party many celebrities and royal people from all over the world participated.</p>

<p>I once played classical guitar for her, and afterwards we shook hands and she said thank you for the music.</p>

<p>Three years ago I was forced to make changes and reconsider my life. All aspects of it.</p>
<p>I had a serious stress breakdown. Two heart failures in one night. There I was with a body that had turned 80 overnight, and lot’s of emotional challenges.<br />
And &#8211; lots of time to think!</p>
<p>As a part of my recovering, I worked with affirmations, visualization etc. I saw and read The Secret, began to study books by Joe Vitale, John Assaraf and Jack Canfield. My curve was going rapidly upwards.</p>
<p>I soon made the decision that it was time for a change regarding my career. Through Joe Vitale, I heard about Pat O’Bryan, and bought his book: You Portable Empire. Immediately I ressonated with what he was writing. That was what I wanted to do for a living! I wanted to have my own <strong>Portable Empire</strong>.</p>
<p>Also I ressonated with his personal story. Being a musician myself, I was never financially broke, but as I was teaching music a lot, and never really liked it (actually I mostly hated it!) I was kind of emotionally broke!</p>
<p>At this point in my life I knew nothing about the technical side of creating webpages, opt-in forms or creating digital products like ebooks and audio products. Pdf, ftp, html etc. was Chinese to me! But I started to learn. Through my study of the Classical Guitar at the Academy of Music, I had taught myself to work very purposefully and determined, and while learning I met some really nice and helpful people on the internet. Some of them are my close friends today.</p>
<p>Parallel to this I educated myself as an online marketeer. A whole new world had opened to me!</p>
<p>I now run several web sites (designed by myself), I have created digital products, and I’m building My Portable Empire. And I love it!</p>
<p>Recently I joined Pat O’Bryan’s Portable Empire Coaching program. Because I wanted to learn from the best! As I studied the Classicall Guitar, I was used to have the best teachers. Teachers who could not just tell you how to, but also play how to for you. I wanted the same regarding online business. I wanted a teacher who was walking his talk, and Pat O’Bryan is.</p>
<p>I am creating products in two niches that have been a part of my “new life”: Audio programs for personal change and growth, and ebooks on subjects as Blogging, Online Marketing, Audio Production etc.. I’m dedicated to helping and inspiring others achive their dream lives.</p>
<p>I’m now a part of an online marketing “gang” with lots of talent, everybody helping eachother and everybody progressing with an incredible speed.</p>

<p>This blog post is my post for day 2 in <a href="http://ebookwritingandmarketingsecrets.com/30-day-blogging-challenge/" target="_blank"><strong>Connie Ragen&#8217; 30 Days Blog Challenge</strong></a>.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ve probably heard of <a href="http://www.newbie-ebooks.com/jointventuremarketing.html" target="_blank"><strong>joint venture marketing</strong></a> and how it can benefit your business, increase  your customer base and maximize profits, but have you taken the leap and truly put yourself out there?</p>
<p>Whether you are just getting started and seeking to team up with an established business owner in order to gain visibility and grow your customer base, or already own a successful business and seeking to maximize your profit-earning potential, joint venture marketing can be an adventure and should be treated as one.</p>
<p>Most likely, you are entering into uncharted territory. You will have to get to know your coming partner, their business, their existing strategy and their customer base. It has taken them months, maybe even years to build their business, therefore, you can&#8217;t expect to know and understand it over night. Take the time to study the history of the business, where it came from and how it became what it is today.</p>
<p>You could make a list of the Top 20 people from your niche, connect with them on <a href="http://twitter.com" target="_blank"><strong>Twitter </strong></a>and <a href="http://www.facebook.com" target="_blank"><strong>FaceBook</strong></a>, subscribe to their newsletter, and start building a relationship with them.</p>
<p>Then after a while you can start to introduce your business to them. Make sure they know and understand what it is that you do, why you do it and who you do it for. Getting to know each other seems like such a menial task, but in reality, it will serve to be the very foundation for the success of your <a href="http://www.newbie-ebooks.com/jointventuremarketing.html" target="_blank"><strong>joint venture marketing campaign</strong></a>. Also, remember to ask them what you can do for them.</p>
<p>It will take time, effort, planning and require a certain vulnerability that can be intimidating for any business owner. However, don&#8217;t be scared or put off by joint venture marketing. Embrace the adventure, take a risk and watch your business grow. The worst thing that can happen is that you can get a &#8220;no&#8221;!</p>
