Affirmations for reprogramming your mind

If you want changes in your life you will need to get out of your comfort zone, by thinking and acting in new ways. We humans are habitual, so in the beginning it will take some persistance and determination. Not until your brain, by repetition after repetition has created new neurological pathways, you have got yourself a new habit that feels natural and comfortable.
Affirmations for streching your comfort zone
One way of challenging your comfort zone is by using affirmations. Your way of acting and thinking is controled by your conscious as well as unconscious beliefs. Often a lot of these beliefs are limiting! You can use affirmations for reprogramming these beliefs.
What is an affirmation?
An affirmations is a statement that describes a goal in its already completed state such as: “I am happy right here right now”. For the affirmations to work, it is important to state it in the positive, so that the affirmations is for what you want, and not what you don’t want. If you say: “I am no longer sad” your mind will hear: “I am sad”. So the affirmation for a joyful life could be: “I now live a life full of joy and happiness”.
Affirmations for yourself.
Make the affirmations for yourself. “My husband is now kind to me” is not as powerful as: “I now live in a loving marriage”.
When you start bombarding your subconscious mind with affirmations and thereby new images and thoughts like a big bank account, a trim body, a perfect relationship etc. your chances for making changes in your life will increase. When your focus shifts, new doors and opportunities will appear, and your job is then to act on these!
